Welcome to Docstron, operated by Playiiit (Pvt) Ltd. (the "Company", "Docstron", "We" or "Us"). By accessing the PDF generation API and related services (the "Services") available at Docstron, whether through our API, dashboard, or by any other means (collectively, the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (the "Agreement"), whether or not you create a Docstron account and/or purchase any of the Services.

You should also read the Docstron Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference into this Agreement and available on the Platform.

If you do not accept and agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement, including the Docstron Privacy Policy, do not use the Platform, purchase any of the Services, and/or create a Docstron account.

Acceptance of Terms of Service Agreement

This Agreement is an electronic contract that establishes the legally binding terms you must accept to use the Platform and the Services. This Agreement includes the Company's (i) Privacy Policy, (ii) terms disclosed and agreed to by you if you purchase or subscribe for any Services, and/or any other additional features, products or services we offer on the Platform.

By accessing or using the Platform and our Services, you accept this Agreement and agree to the terms, conditions and notices contained or referenced herein and consent to have this Agreement and all notices provided to you in electronic form either via email or directly to your account on the Platform, or both. To withdraw this consent, you must cease using the Platform and terminate your account. The Company may modify this Agreement at its sole discretion from time to time. Such modifications to be effective upon posting by the Company on the Platform.

Eligibility

No part of the Platform and Services is directed to persons under the age of 14. By using the Platform and/or Services, you are representing that you are at least 18 years old or that you are 14-17 years old and have your parents' or legal guardian's permission to access and use the Platform and/or Services. Any use of the Platform and/or Services is void where prohibited. By accessing and using the Platform and/or Services, you represent and warrant that you have the right, authority and capacity to enter into this Agreement and to abide by all of the terms and conditions of this Agreement.

Using the Platform and/or Services may be prohibited or restricted in certain countries. You are responsible for complying with the laws and regulations of the territory from which you access or use the Platform and/or Services.

Using the Services

In order to access the Services, you will need to create an account on the Platform and may need to subscribe to a paid plan. If you do so, you authorize us to contact you via email and provide you with all necessary information to access the Platform and/or the Services.

We might need to collect some information from you to personalize the Platform and/or the Services for you. Please consult our Privacy Policy for more information regarding what information we collect from you and how we use it.

You are responsible for your conduct while using our Platform and/or the Services and must comply with these Terms of Service and any applicable laws. Content of the documents and files processed through our API may be protected by others' intellectual property. Please do not upload, process or share content unless you have the right to do so. We are not responsible for the legality, appropriateness or intellectual property rights ownership of any content processed through our Services.

Term and Termination

This Agreement will remain in full force and effect while you use the Platform, any of the Services, and/or have a Docstron account. You may disable your account and stop using the Platform, or any of the Services at any time for any reason.

The Company may terminate or suspend your ability to use the Platform and/or the Services and cancel any subscriptions in its sole discretion at any time without notice if the Company believes that you have breached this Agreement, or for any other reason, with or without cause. Upon such termination or suspension, you will not be entitled to any refund of unused subscription fees or any other fees paid. The Company is not required to disclose, and may be prohibited by law from disclosing, the reason for the termination or suspension of your account and/or subscription.

Refund Policy

All purchases for API credits and subscriptions are final. Purchases are non-refundable. Please carefully review your selected plan and usage limits before making a purchase.

Personal and Commercial Use

The Platform and the Services are suitable for both personal and commercial use. Some features may require you to subscribe to a paid plan or purchase additional API credits. You may also accept additional features, products or services we offer on the Platform, such as free trials, discounts and promotions. It is your responsibility to use the Platform and the Services in a private and secure manner.

The Company is not liable to you for any damage or loss due to unauthorized account access resulting from your actions or at no fault of the Company. You may not use the Platform, the Services, your account, and/or Docstron services for any illegal activity or to violate laws in your jurisdiction. The Company may investigate and take any available legal action in response to illegal and/or unauthorized uses of the Platform, the Services, your account, and/or Docstron services.

You shall not and are expressly prohibited from reverse-engineering, tampering with, or attempting to circumvent any security features of the Platform or Services. If found, the Company may investigate and take any available legal action including civil and criminal prosecution.

Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your access credentials (API keys, username and password), and you are solely responsible for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to immediately notify the Company of any disclosure or unauthorized use of your account, API keys, username or password, or any other breach of security at support@docstron.com and ensure that you log out from your account at the end of each session.

API Usage and Rate Limits

Your use of the Docstron API is subject to rate limits and usage quotas based on your subscription plan. Exceeding these limits may result in temporary suspension of service or additional charges. You agree to monitor your usage and upgrade your plan as necessary to avoid service interruptions.

The Company reserves the right to implement fair use policies and throttle or block requests that we determine, in our sole discretion, to be abusive or in violation of these terms.

Disclaimer

THE COMPANY IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ACCURACY OF THE INFORMATION OR DOCUMENTS GENERATED THROUGH THE SERVICES. ANY USE OF THE SERVICES IS AT YOUR OWN DISCRETION AND RISK AND YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE TO YOUR SYSTEMS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA.

ALL SERVICES AND SUBSCRIPTIONS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. THE COMPANY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND INCLUDING ALL WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS OF MERCHANTABILITY WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Proprietary Rights

The Company owns and retains all proprietary rights in the Platform, the Services, and in all content, trademarks, trade names, service marks and other intellectual property rights related thereto. You agree to not copy, modify, transmit, create any derivative works from, make use of, or reproduce in any way any copyrighted material, trademarks, trade names, service marks, or other intellectual property accessible through the Platform and/or the Services, without first obtaining the prior written consent of the Company.

Data Transmission and Processing

The Company ensures that all data transmitted between your application and the Docstron API is encrypted using Transport Layer Security (TLS). In addition to securing data in transit, processed data is encrypted at rest. By transmitting content to the Platform, you grant the Company permission to process, convert, and manipulate such content as necessary to provide the Services (for example, converting HTML to PDF, merging documents, etc.).

Documents and files processed through our API are retained only as long as necessary to fulfill the request and for a limited period as outlined in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to submit any content to our Services.

API Log Access

As part of the Company's support process, if you request assistance with our Services, you agree to allow our customer support team access to view your Docstron API log activity. This access helps us accurately identify and resolve any issues you may encounter with the Services.

Customer and Support Services

The Company provides assistance and technical guidance through its customer service and support representatives. When communicating with our customer and support service representatives, you agree to not be abusive, obscene, profane, offensive, threatening, harassing, or otherwise behave inappropriately. If we feel that your behavior towards any of our customer service representatives or other employees is at any time threatening or offensive, we reserve the right to immediately terminate your account and cancel your subscription.

Modifications to or Discontinuance of Services

The Company reserves the right at any time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Platform or Services (or any part thereof) with or without notice. You agree that the Company shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, suspension or discontinuance of the Services. To protect the integrity of the Platform, the Company reserves the right at any time in its sole discretion to block users from certain IP addresses from accessing the Services.

Third-Party Services and Links

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites or integrate with third-party services. You acknowledge and agree that the Company is not responsible for the availability of such external websites or resources, and does not endorse and is not responsible or liable for any content, information, or services available from such websites or resources. Any dealings with third parties found through the Platform are solely between you and such third party.

Limitations on Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL THE COMPANY, ITS AFFILIATES, BUSINESS PARTNERS, LICENSORS OR SERVICE PROVIDERS BE LIABLE TO YOU OR ANY THIRD PERSON FOR ANY INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF GOODWILL, DAMAGES FOR LOSS, CORRUPTION OR BREACHES OF DATA, SERVICE INTERRUPTIONS AND PROCUREMENT OF SUBSTITUTE SERVICES, EVEN IF THE COMPANY HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

NOTWITHSTANDING ANYTHING TO THE CONTRARY CONTAINED HEREIN, THE COMPANY'S LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CAUSE WHATSOEVER, AND REGARDLESS OF THE FORM OF THE ACTION, WILL AT ALL TIMES BE LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT PAID, IF ANY, BY YOU TO THE COMPANY IN THE 12 MONTHS PRIOR TO THE CLAIM. YOU AGREE THAT ANY CLAIM OR CAUSE OF ACTION ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO USE OF THE SERVICES OR THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT MUST BE FILED WITHIN ONE YEAR AFTER SUCH CLAIM OR CAUSE OF ACTION AROSE OR BE FOREVER BARRED.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold the Company, its subsidiaries, and affiliates, and its and their officers, agents, partners and employees, harmless from any loss, liability, claim, or demand, including reasonable attorney's fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of your breach of this Agreement, your use of the Services, or the violation of any law or regulation by you. The Company reserves the right to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you.

Notices

The Company may provide you with notices, including those regarding changes to this Agreement, using any reasonable means including by email, regular mail, or postings on the Platform. Such notices may not be received if you violate this Agreement by accessing the Platform in an unauthorized manner. You agree that you are deemed to have received any and all notices that would have been delivered had you accessed the Platform in an authorized manner.

Entire Agreement

This Agreement, together with the Privacy Policy, contains the entire agreement between you and the Company regarding the use of the Platform and Services. If any provision of this Agreement is held invalid, the remainder of this Agreement shall continue in full force and effect. The failure of the Company to exercise or enforce any right or provision of this Agreement shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.

You agree that your account is non-transferable and all of your rights to your account or contents within your account terminate upon your death or entity's dissolution. The Company reserves the right to transfer, assign, or subcontract any or all rights or obligations under this Agreement.

Amendments

This Agreement is subject to change by the Company at any time. When we post changes to the Agreement, we will revise the "last updated" date at the top of this Agreement. We recommend that you check our Platform from time to time to inform yourself of any changes in this Agreement or any of our other policies. Your continued use of the Services after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms of Service.
